Description This is a pastel I painted from a photograph I took of a Mexican sunflower in Monet's garden in 2007. The atmosphere was thick with mist, and it was condensing on all of the flowers for some stunning effects. This image swam around in my brain for more than a year, until I finally HAD to paint it.
